Worried about pup development & shipping

Personally, I am not worried about the pup and shipping. My girlfriend who is getting him is worried... Both of us have Belgian Malinois, and we both have seen pups that have been traumatized as a youngster and develop a neurosis. So I do understand her concern.
Vlcaks are not Malinois of course, but as neither of us have any experience with the development of the vlcak, I figured I would ask vlcak people here on the forum what their experiences were.
For instance, when I worked as a Vet Tech at a dog training facility, we would ship puppies from Europe for clients. The German Shepherd pups were just fine, but often the Malinois pups were shaking from stress.
I don't know what to expect from a vlcak.
She is an excellent home and a super dog trainer, so it's not like the pup will be going into any sort of negative situation - she just feels strongly about puppy development "windows"...
