For me this is also a good “start” !!
But is only a start for me ![]() Because I know a lot of breeds have more health problems then only the visible things!!! And of course judges can only judges on the things they can see. When you compare for a specific breed the things that are mentioned in this list, with the already available genetic test for this breed, you will find out a lot more health problems… And till today owners and breeders can show their beautiful dogs with (serious invisible) health problems, till they become champion. And every one knows, that there are breeders who will breed with champions and make advertising for them, even when they have invisible health problems! For example even in CsW breed, with a health problem like HD, there are dogs who do not have official HD x-rays. They can legal become champion and there are still breeders who breed with such dogs…... So I hope in future it will be obligated to have also good DNA test results of a dog (of the available test of the health problems in that breed) before an owner/breeder can sign in for a show! But I think that this will take a lot of years!
