Default World Winner Dog Show Amsterdam

Hello Everybody,

I wanted to warn everybody who applied his/her dog to the World Winner Dog Show in Amsterdam.

We applied 2 dogs before the first closing time but when we called the secretary the papers were unknown. Because of the high prices after the first closing date, we deceided not the apply for the second time so unfortunately we are not there with dogs.

This morning we got a E-mail from Italy with the same problems. So we wanted to check out if your dog is apply and the money is payed cash of from your account. Otherwise do call the secretary of the show Tel 0031-343-473710 and ask if your dog is applied for the show.

I hope for you all, that nothing is happened with your papers and that we can meet you and the dogs in Amsterdam.

Greetings,

Letty and Kooos de Graaff

Default WorldWinner Amsterdam and BBQ in Holland

Hello Everybody,

A few weeks ago, we heard that our papers for the WorldWinner Show in Amsterdam are not arrived at the secretary for the Show in Amsterdam. So we cannot meet you with our dogs but we will be there without dogs. We warned everybody to check if your payment for the show is allright otherwise the trip is too long to come for nothing. We received some other reactions with the same problems.

Now we have a proposal. We live in a very little village about 100 km from Amsterdam. About 1,5 km from our house there is a campingplace and it is allowed to bring your dog with you. Also there is a house with several rooms at the same area but this is for people without dogs. It is possible to rent a room there for about Euro 15,-- and the Campingplace is about Euro 7,-- pro night.
The only thing is that you have to reserve the place at the camping and the rooms because it is summerholiday in our country. You can do your reservations by E-mail on [email protected]
Do that AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you wanted to come overthere.

When you are there we can go to Amsterdam together so the way to Amsterdam I know very well and you haven't to surch there. I think this is very easy to you.

After the show in Amsterdam we wanted to organise a BBQ for all the guest from the foreign countries. But we need a little help from yourside. We wanted to know which people wanted to come for the BBQ because we wanted to know what we have to buy and for how many persons.
The owner from a CV doesn't have to pay. Family and friends which come with them have to pay a little
Euro 5,-- pro person. We don't think this is to much for a nice evening together but we can't have more then 60 persons at our place. One more or less doesn't matter but when 80 persons will be coming, that will be a big problem for us. So IF you wanted to come, please send me an E-mail. The dutch people are also welcome for a payment of Euro 10,--.

If you have problems with the reservation, please contact me and I wanted to help you.
We hope that everyone has a nice trip to Holland and we can have a very nice evening together. We hope it is a great proposal and you cann/will accept it.

Many greetings,

Letty and Koos de Graaff

Default BBQ World Winner

Hello everybody again,

This evening we had a telephonecall with one of our Slowakian friends. From Slowakia are coming some people to Amsterdam but because of the trip back again (about 20 hours), they asked me, if it is possible te do the BBQ on Fryday-evening.

We think that is not such a bad idea at all, because there will be some more people coming and they will have a long trip back. So we decided, that the BBQ will be on Fryday-evening in statt off Saterday-evening.

We hope, that there are other people also agree with this and that we will meet eachother but don't forget to tell us, that you will be coming.

Greetings,

Letty and Koos

Default Amsterdam Winner and BBQ

Hello everyone

We invited you to come to Holland and stay on a campingplace near our house. About 1,5 km distance. I also gave the E-mail adress of this campingplace on the memberslist but there are troubles with the computer over there.

So I contact the persons from the campingplace and they told me that everything is OK. A certain piece of the campingplace is reservated for all the members who wanted to come to Holland and stay the night(s) overthere. Only when there are some members who stay overnight in the house, I wanted to know that AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, so that I can make the reservation for the house. You know it is summerholiday at ours.

The BBQ will be on Fryday-evening, the evening BEFORE the show in Amsterdam. We all invited you but please send me your name because I know then how many people are coming.

Greetings

Letty

Default BBQ

Hello everybody,

Now the date of the WorldwinnerShow is coming nearby and everything is
arranged at the campingplace in our village for foreign people with dogs, we
wanted to know how many people will come to our BBQ at the evening BEFORE
the show in Amsterdam. We wanted to know that for our shopping sothat we can
arrange some other things. Please contact us and tell us with how many
people you will come.

Maybe some of you have tryed to contact us but we have at this moment so
many strange E-mails and Virusses that we don't open all the messages so use
the letters BBQ if you answer us.

For those people which don't know that there is a possibility to stay on a
campingplace near our house. You can come there with dogs. A certain piece
of the campingplace is reservated for people with CSW. The price is about
Euro 7,-- and what I can remember Euro 2 for the dogs.

Here follows the way to us and the campingplace.

I think, most of you are coming from Czech Republique, Slowakia and Germany
and the most easiest way is to travel to Oberhausen/Arnheim

You follow the way to Arnhem. About 20 km after the border you have to
select to the right side of the Highway and go over the bridge. Also right
side. Over the bridge there are trafficlights and go also to the right side
into the direction of Zutphen, Dieren. You have to follow the highway still
its end (about 10 km). By the trafficlights you go to the left. Next
trafficlights to the right, then you come into the village of Dieren. Don't
drive too fast, there are camera's. There are also a lot of trafficlights
shortly behind eachother. Drive through to village (at the left side you see
a small railway-station) till the way will be narrow. There are coming 2
lights and by the second light you have to go to the left into the direction
of Apeldoorn, Laag Soeren, Eerbeek. You will come over the railway and drive
along water. Get through till trafficlights will come. By the second
trafficlights you go over the bridge at the rights side (crossing
Eerbeek-Hall) and after 100 meter there is the entrance of the campingplace.
Shortly before you can go to the right and this is the street we are living
on (Rhienderensestraat no 23). The name of the camping place is Hallse Hull

If you loose the way, please contact us by phone 0031575-563769 or handy
0031653152930 and we will try to pick you up of lead you to the
campingplace.

I hope, this is clear enough an wish you a nice travel to Holland. If there
are some people which are coming from another direction, please send me your
mail and I will try to give you the right way to come over here.

Greetings,

Letty and Koos

And I am sorry that I most say
it,but there where very agressief TWH's on the WW dogshow in
Amsterdam. That is not good for the name of the breed and is not
exceptable in the europeen countries with a lot of people and dogs in a
small space.

Could you write something more about this?
I spoke with some people about judging CzWs in Amsterdam (they all are not
CzW owners so they didn't tell me about which dogs they were talking). And
they didn't asked me for agressive dogs. They asked me why the judge
tolerated so many shy dogs that should be not judged but
disqualificated.....

Greetings,
Margo

Hallo Margo,

the judge is a Saarloos man,so he is used to shy dogs.In the netherlands
it's normal to disqualificated,or give a lower position to dogs
agressief to each other and there were plenty of that kind of dogs, the
visitors get to see lots of great teeths.
We have a probleme in west-europe with biting dogs, thats the reason. And
normaly shy dogs don't bite ,only anxious dogs.
But I looked to the winners and that were dogs that have winned a lot
more prices, they were not outsiders, but maybe in the eyes of a good
CzWs-men he did it wrong. It's the same with a judge for the Saarloos
into another country, they always judge them like a German Sheperd and
it's a very differant dog.

And about buying a SWH .There is a long list of people waiting for a pup
in the netherlands and there be born not many pups within the
association. In Germany are breeders to,but they are a little bit
different from the dutch assoc. And ofcourse there is the dutch/french
breeder who you know from the CsWs.

I can't help, but i think we should not get used to shy dogs, and at any breed. Neither the owners, neither the judges. I disagree that shy dogs do not bite, more i believe these are most probable to bite when they fear they can't escape. I do not want to say that agressive dogs are fine, but on the other side i am strongly against shy dogs getting into breeding. Both extrems - very shy dogs and very agressive dogs should be kicked out from the circle and should not be judged.
It's for our own good, to eliminate such dogs from breeding. If we breed only on good character dogs, we can expect to have more (or most) good character pups and less problems in the future.
What it helps, that the dog has beatiful appearance, when it's problematic to share house with it? When it is problem to go out with it? When it must be on leash for most of the time ..

It is the same problem in Germany. But judges there disqualificate agressive
AND shy dogs. And the same regulations have judges in Poland.

I can't agree. It is true if we are speaking about Saarloos. I saw those
dogs and when something happens and they are affraid they "turn off"
(if they can't run away they will not bite and they will not move).
But the biggest problem for our breed (CzW) are exactly shy dogs. I saw some
disqualifications of "agressive" CzWs. All were OK and I can agree with
judges which done this. But I know those dogs and I must say all are OK for
other people. There is no problem to come and play with them, to stroke
them. They just need more training on the dog shows. But I will never try to
stroke a shy dog because I don't want to be bitten (we have judges in the
Czech Club that are already bitten by a CzW but all those dogs were not
agressive, they were very shy and affraid of contact with people).

And about buying a SWH .

Thanks for the info...

Margo
