Can anybody briefly explain the genetic "law" of how the DM genes are passed on (or link me to a thread if there is one)

I'm guessing
DM/DM sire x DM/DM dam = DM/DM litter, correct?
N/N sire x N/N dam = N/N litter, also correct?

What about other combinations?
