It'd be great if it will be removed from "his" gallery

Default Database updates

Dear Admin,

How's the progress with the database? Are there still bugs in the breeding tags?

A few weeks ago I sent you the HD result (A) of my dog Delan van Hiemrod together with his pedigree and testresults of DM and dwarfism with the request to list him as a breeding stud as he fulfills all necessary requirements to be approved for breeding. I uploaded it all and sent it also by separate mail, but nothing happened since. He has recently been approved as a stud dog in the Netherlands by the official breed club. > See also his inclusion as stud dog on the site of the Dutch chsechoslovakian wolfdog breed club click here .

I don't want to be impatient, but may I ask you to list him as a stud dog on wolfdog ( on his breeding tag info and on the total list of stud dogs), together with his HD result which is still missing?

Thanks in advance!

Very common American mistake.

I would request that American dogs be required to have their CHIC number to be approved for breeding (and of course passing health scores) beginning in 2012.

http://www.caninehealthinfo.org/brdreqs.html?breed=CW

When scores are checked on the OFFA or CHIC database, the dogs name will have a small emblem that says "CHIC"

The rules of Wolfdog.org are that the dogs have a valid pedigree and hips results not less than "C" and good ED results. As well as kennel-club/breed club-specific requirements on registration & breeding.. so in CZ Republic, for example, Bonitation et al.

AKC requirements basically don't exist outside of having a valid pedigree, and the required minimum ages for males and females are so young that it wouldn't be really possible for mating to occur before that anyway..

CHIC is decidedly not an AKC requirement for registration.. it is strictly optional and voluntary, I wonder what will be done?

Dear Admin!

What I understand from what you write here, that every dog has to appear in the database (new litters, breeding male, HD, ED) which has the right for breeding. In Hungary, you only need Hungarian bonitation. For example, HD is not needed.
Because you mentioned me multiple time that without HD filter you won't put our soon nascent puppies on webpage. You should know every country's breeding rules.
I think that you overrule the F.C.I.'s rules.

Default Going above and beyond

It is always a good idea to try to achieve more than what is needed. It is in everyone's best interest that all dogs' hips are properly checked. I fully support this database requiring more than the minimum..

We did (ALL) wote here ones ( I think it was in 2009 )
That HD x-ray was to be done on both parents before one could put up a litter on the planned litter...

So I gues it is officiall HD result + the roles for breeding in every county that is needed to put your litter info on Wolfdog...

But than again Ho wold even breed whitout taken HD x-ray on
there dogs ?????????????????????????????

Best regards / M

if we go by each Kennel Club's requirements, then dogs bred from US need nothing at all, besides to have a pedigree..(sometimes under special cases, not even that!!)

In Sweden you only need to do the Mental Dog (test) Nothing more...

But the Vlcak club recomends HD and ED x-ray

AND last but not least, the buyers demands it
( + 151 show results of no value at all, but it is important it say Champion
at the end )

Best regards / Mikael
