The whole family is great - seem very happy, and that's the most important factor I don't know how to put it, but they also look .... clever? You must be a good trainer Re the ears: for 14 years we used to have a CSV orphan, probably a descendant of 'early' CSVs. Her ears were huge, but... very, very dear! |

He may be a 'mutt' but he is lovely and very obviously loved (sorry, my grammar is deserting me this morning and I can't think of a different adjective!). Your pack are great and, as Rona says, you obviously are a good trainer who knows her stuff. (I get the feeling you are female, if I'm wrong - sorry ) |

Hmm...Clever.... - some of them are good learners and enjoy working, which helps. I would not call the collie clever, but the Gundog is too much so for her own good, and Zeff (the CsVx) could be if he could be bothered, when it comes to something he wants he can work it out, but the rest of the time it is just too much like hard work!! As to his ears - I don't really mind, I had not intended to get him, and certainly had formulated no plans as to what he would look like when he was 'grown up'! They also match his legs, which are also a bit long for his body!! Thanks - I don't know about the 'good trainer' bit, but I do just about scrape a living by it. Yes - I am female, and I don;t think you need another adjective - My dogs are very loved! Thank you all. Last edited by Tassle; 21-04-2011 at 10:34. |

I was meaning that I had used 'lovely' and 'loved' in the same sentence - it was the 'lovely' that I would have changed as the 'loved' is patently obvious . I know what you mean about your Zeff finding it all too much bother. We were watching a dog display with Shadow once and she would have had her chin in her hands if she could and been saying 'but what's the point?? all that effort and no treat!' The look on her face was a picture! |
