Non si riesce ad avere un database per chi ha fatto il test? In modo da averli tutti lì, italiani e esteri?

Ieri sera ho scritto al Ministero della Salute a Roma.
Volevo capire quali restrizioni c'erano per l'importazione del farmaco che potrebbe aiutare ad una vita migliore i malati di MD.
Non essendo pratica non volevo incorrere in sanzioni. Questa mattina un amico dalla Germania mi informa che non può effettuare l'acquisto della medicina perchè è ad uso umano e dall'America è vietata l'importazione.

In questo momento sono stata contattata telefonicamente dal Ministero, settore veterinario. Mi invieranno dei documenti da compilare e mi daranno la concessione per l'importazione della medicina. I tempi per le delibere saranno forse un pò lunghi, per via delle vacanze in mezzo, ma l'importante è esserci riuscita!!
Se qualcuno avrà bisogno posso passargli tutte le informazioni necessarie.

Per il test occorre inviare al Laboklin in Germania 0,5 ml di sangue in EDTA. QUesta cosa la deve fare il veterinario, nel senso che assieme al sangue c'è il modello di richiesta, che ho richiesto (scusate la cacofonia ) al Laboklin proprio oggi.Purtroppo comunicano solo in Inglese o Tedesco..hem..
Spero non mi mandino il modulo di richiesta di autopsia..

Giada sono 2 ml.
Se vuoi che non lo trovi su questo thread, ti invio il modulo in Italiano.
Quando vedono che si tratta di esami per il cecoslovacco, in automatico ti mettono il prezzo ridotto e allora lo stoccaggio (30,00€) + test (54,00€) sono euro 84,00. Non serve specificare se sei o meno di qualche club.

But thanks to others I also could read a bit on the English forum about what was written here
So I hope I can explain a bit more in English language

Everybody has to realize there is not any reason for "blind panic" about DM!!

• DM is an "old (genetic) disease" and it also appears in "no breed" dogs.
• Even not all by test proven "Affected dogs" seems to get all the physical problems. So also other factors seems to have influence in appearing physical DM problems (the same like with HD)
• On this moment several things are not yet known about this disease So a lot more of research about DM is needed!
• (in a few weeks more info about special DM research for CsW's will be added on wolfdog)
• And no dogs need to be excluded because of DM for breeding!

For example the research of Missouri recommends:
We recommend that dog breeders take into consideration the DM test results as they plan their breeding programs; however, they should not over-emphasize this test result. Instead, the test result is one factor among many in a balanced breeding program.

And I agree with this! We should not over react on DM.
Every dog can mean more for the breed then only DM test results!
Most of the Carriers and Affected dogs will have also good genes for the future of the breed!
And we can't afford to exclude all these dogs for the gene pool of the breed.

On this moment it would not be clever to make specific breeding rules based on the relative few CsW that have DM test results !
Especially when not everything is known about this disease.

And besides this: There also will appear more genetic diseases (and tests for this) in every breed in future.

But for the future of the breed it is necessary to test as much CsW's as possible, to see how this genetic disease is spread.
And of course in the meantime a lot of more research about DM is still needed!

Ma perchè alcuni nomi nella lista sono asteriscati? non c'era l'obbligo di pubblicazione dei dati?

Vorrei solo aggiungere a quello già detto da Martina.
E' vergognoso e per nulla utile il fatto di mettere che un cane è malato DM/DM e non mettere poi il nome.
Non si tratta di fare gli untori, ma semplicemente non serve a NULLA altrimenti. A me non serve solo sapere se su 100, 30 sono malati e il resto no. Serve anche sapere in quali linee ci sono portatori e quali quelli malati anche a livello allevatoriale.
Che senso ha, solo per pura statistica?

Che tirino un pò fuori le palle stè grandi persone!!!

Ottimo! I cani testati sono saliti da 30 a 47, ma i cani "malati" sono rimasti sette.

Alimenta il mio sospetto fatto all'inizio: che i cani dei primi test fatti al raduno tedesco fossero strettamente imparentati..
