Rona.. funny you should mention about Krakow being a home to friendly wolves wandering the streets..

You probably know, but Nara is a city in Japan with real, friendly deer wandering about. They let you approach and take photos with them, etc.. and they have no handlers.

Wonder what the deer would think? People walk their dogs through the parks and public places where the deer are.. of course, in Japan the most popular are the small dogs but sometimes you do see an Akita here or there.

Hi Marcy!!

Looking forward to learning more so we can be more prepared.. try to be, anyway..

Please dont reply in kanji, I had to work a little to find that, I want to welcome you as well. I lived in Sasebo for 7 months, and have also visited the island Okinawa for some time. I wanted to tack on a small story of what happened here today in Italy... I was held up by a herd of sheep in the road, (the shepherd saw Elsa growling at them)... and the she ran down in the floorboard. I rolled my window down and asked if he had ever seen a wolf afraid of sheep before??? Unfortunately, he didn't seem to see the humor. Anyways, if you ever have any issues or concerns, don't be afraid to ask here. Jason Young

Hi Jason! Thanks for the welcome!

Italy, parts of it, anyway, sounds very pastoral... I'd love to go someday!
'Wolf' afraid of sheep! Well, Luna (our minpin) is smaller than most cats so although she'll bark at them, when given the chance, she stays far, far away from them..
