Hip extended radiography accuracy:

six months: 16-32 per cent
1 yr: 62-69 per cent
1.5 yrs: 72-83 per cent
2 yrs: 92-95 per cent

This is the reason why we are not allowed to x-ray too young (as far as I remember with 18 month earliest) in Germany and we normally don´t do it before 24 month, especially in males. But in most countries x-rays are done with 12 month.

German vets that are allowed to do the evaluation normally meet in regular terms and train together to increase the accuracy. It seems to work, we once did let 2 dogs evaluate from 3 vets and got identical results on both.

I think 24 month are to be the minimum,
sens the certainty on a 15 month test is very low to,
only about 70% safe !!!
