Another example: tracking by IPO exams... Sorry but to get maximum points you need really a DUMB dog... A dog which HAVE NO IDEA how to track... or... a dog which will fulfill the commands of his owner EVEN of they are totaly idiotic....

I think I have a real big problem .
Mine CSW barks as loud and as much as mine GSD did.
And mine CSW did IPO tracks 1,2,3 FH 1 and 2 and did pass them with more points then mine GSD did .
So I must have a totally dumb idiotic CSW who like's to YAP .

You forgot one "small thing" - your malinois.... My dogs also yap - they learned it from our GSD-mix... Learned VERY fast as all bad things....
The master was Balrog who was able to yap subliminal - he almost didn't opened his mounts but his voice was able to drive people crazy...

But still: none of them would bark on command for 20 sec....

First off all, mine malinios is not a smal thing !!

But if I did not have a malinios Nomad learned it from the dogs in the park .
But they do bark , and if you really want and put some work in it, I believe you can make them bark on command for 20 sec .
But they will not do it for defence, but they will for food .
But they wil never bark like a malinios , and I thank God for that !!!

usually she is very silent even when somebody walk along fence or come to us. This is great because my neighbours will call the police after her first sound

My neighbour likes the hoooooooowling
At least for 10-20 minute than even they get bored of it


They can bark a little, but it sound like a frog trying to talk

..... yes,my Tupac sounds like that :-)it is more of an ooouuph than a woof :-)
he also sounds like 'the wookie' from the first star wars films.

So mine must be a genius, only occassional woof, woof Last year I was trying to teach her barking, though all in vain, until our trainer asked me what I needed it for. Since I could not find a good answer we gave up and we have now a quiet wolfdog What's more, when Lorka sees barking dogs, she looks at them with kind of amused expression.
