No problem I can understand German language, but I can't write it (then you would not understand what I was writing!)

I am really happy for you and all other owners that you all did never see a CsW with Dwarfism and DM.
The reason that I did write this time something on the German forum was only to inform you that these diseases really exist in CsW breed.

In the meantime only 30 CsW's were tested for dwarfism and 6 of them were carriers of the gene mutation: http://wolfdog-healthinfo.org/mediap...groei_test.pdf

But it is not any problem to breed with carriers!! Only make a combination with a free dog
The only problem is when people start with witch hunting on breeders of carriers and dwarfs!
Sometimes people prefer to close eyes ... and prefer combinations of no tested dogs

Of course I know this is a SWH ! That is also why I did write "a wolfdog with treatment"
But because I don't yet have photo's of any an older CsW dwarf with treatment I did add this one. And on this photo you could see that with treatment they grow and don't have skin problems.

I know Koos and Letty personal very well (Letty and I are even a member of a health group of the Dutch CsW club) And I also know all the stories you are talking about.

But I can assure you dwarfism is not only in the lines you are suggesting!
I have photo's of CsW dwarfs from all kind of countries.
But unfortunately not any CsW from these lines was tested for dwarfism.

This is for example my CsW dwarf Yazhi:

She is coming from one of the countries of origin and will be the first CsW dwarf that will get treatment.

And about DM indeed on this moment we only know 2 proven affected ones from different lines. (the one form Bruno and one from Germany)
But when there are 2 affected ones with DM there also will be carriers in the breed.

Besides these diseases in the statics site (http://www.amicale-chien-loup-tcheco...gi-bin/form.py) you can find there is also ED and PRA in the breed. And because not all CsW were tested there are only a few cases visible, but trhere will be more.

But again: I only did want to inform you! And of course it is up to you what you want to do with this info
But I will not bother you all anylonger with my Enlish reply's on this forum

Best regards,
