pracuju v laboratoři molekulární genetiky a o DM se hodně zajímám. Ráda bych v nejbližší době zpracovala s některým z našich studentů diplomovou práci na toto téma na molekulární úrovni (ne jen na úrovni pozorování, protože to je často jiné, než molekulární založení) pochopitelně na československých vlčácích. K tomu budu potřebovat veliké množství vzorků a výsledků testací. Já neznám Irana a nijak ho jako plemeníka nepodceňuji ani nezesměšňuji, proč taky? Jen píšu že by bylo dobré uděta tomu psu DM test. Mě osobně by výsledek moc zajímal. Miův krásný život s tím nemá nic společného.

Daniela - it would be great to test ALL dogs. That a dog is young and do not show any symptoms do not mean that it is not DM affected and it will be not "ill" in the future. Because of it is would be great also other dogs...

If you are interested in DM study - please contact Ina. There is a huge CzW blood colecting action - they already colected blood in Germany and Slovakia. Next year we will also make the same in Poland. ANd don't forget to contact Mijke too. :)
I can give you also names of Polish dogs which show the symptoms of DM - they are imported from Czech Republic so I'm sure you will be able to find their brothers and sisters already near to the place you live what can help you with your work. :p

To je skvělé, že bude v Polsku probíhat podobná akce jako loni v Havranovu. Já jsem svoje psy samozřejmě poskytla k odběrům na LVT.

You make DM test of dogs? Is right?
I have question - you use dog from crying wolf for your litter. you test dog? because Gisotsu is son of Flash and here we have problem with this line. Forrest Crying Wolf can not walk because is ill with DM:

And i hear his brother is ill too. People say Flash is ill too

Many people say is because Crying wolf breed with DM ill dogs is why so many have problems with walk.

you can test it? you have tests?

Now i see Flash is dead too. Very young wolfdog. What is reason? Problems with legs too?

My tests are conducted for a thesis (diploma paper). Only! I can not publish results and names of dogs. (But my puppies are not sick ;) )

I not say your puppy is sick because DM illness start when dog is adult. not puppy

:)))) I understand. I know very well what is the process of DM. They are not sick. Never.

Hello Lupis,
if one person make test for DM (puppyes too) and result will be N/N (Laboklin) or GG ( USA laboratory) in future you will have never a sick dog
