"Hoky's memorial"
It's the fifth edition of this competition which is directed to everyone.
Since two years under new name to memory of Hoky z Molu Es who in 2003
died tragically exactly here.
The competition will include traditional disciplines which will be a little
bit modified in comparision to those from first edition (in 2003). Single
competitions are designed in such way that not only well experienced dog
(with passed exams) could participate but also complete amateurs.
The base assumption that will have significant meaning during the competition
is well socialized dog with basics of obedience.

Bonitation and youth presentation:
What is a bonitation (breeding survey)?
In countries of the breed origin bonitation decides about the future of the dog: whether the one will be allowed to be breed or not. For you as foreigners and your dogs the bonitation is not obligatory but it will really allow you to check your dogs in regards to exterieur and character. It will tell you how far your dog meets the breed standard. This is a test which every Czechoslovakian Woldog should pass.
What will be checked and judged?
PUPPIES: the judge tries to evaluate the future breeding value of the specific puppy - owner receives from the judge a precise and very detailed descriptions of his dog together with overall note (very promissing, promissing, less promissing).
ADULT DOGS: the process of evaluation is much more exact - whole dog is being measured, all his faults (and advantages too) are being written down. Second part of bonitation consists of character test in which a reaction to shooting are tested (6mm gun). There is also an attack of a decoy in which the dog should not show signs of fear. The dog receives a bonitation code which is at the same time the overall note (P1 - excellent, P3 - very good, P5 - good, P14 - disqualification).
Age categories:
youth presentation (svod mladych):
for puppies and young dogs from 6 to 18 months old
bonitation (breeding survey):
from 18 months old
Judge:
Oskar Dora (SK)
Fees:
youth presentation: 10 EUR
bonitation: 17 EUR
What should you take with you?:
- pedigree of the dog
- if available also the HD-results

Coursing:
What is coursing?
Coursing is nothing else than hunting of false rabbit. It means that's
a perfect way of making your dog tired. In every run take part two dogs
and judged is not the speed but cooperation of dogs and their pray instinct.
For whom?
For every dog which knows how to and likes to run.
|
How much does it cost?
Fee for the meeting:
20 EUR per person
Additional fees (for bonitation) should be payed separately.
In the fee is included lodging, food and drinks, entry for "Hoky's memorial"
competition, coursing...

How to get here?
Pozna practically does not exist on any maps so here is some help how
to get here.
It looks quite complicated but the way is pretty simple: if you go the
direction from Germany please pass the border at the checkpoint in Gubinek.
Then about 500 meters behind the pass on first crossing turn right (direction
Starosiedle, Grabice). And then straight (approx. 10km). Be watchful behind
the "Markosice" village ? by "sharp left turn" sign there will be asphalt-driveway
to the right to the woods. This is the road to our seat (there is a sign
"Pozna 1"). No. 26 is very easy to be found ? not too much choice ;).
Go the asphalt-driveway through the woods and village. Turn right as soon
as the asphalt ends. And than straight (about 300 meters). The numbers
26 is on the right side...
