Seasonal shedding in Mediterranean weather..

Hello,

I'm just wondering if anyone has a CW in Mediterranean weather. What I mean is weather that is never too cold (<4.5C) and not very often too hot (<27C). Although 5C feels much colder here than elsewhere, since we're by the Pacific ocean with the winds.

My sister has a double-coated dog and if in weather like this, she sheds constantly and doesn't seem to grow neither winter coat nor shed to summer coat.

We are living in an area now that has weather like this, so I'm wondering if anyone has experience with how shedding will be. It would still be nice to have summer and winter coat, and not a confused shedding-all-the-time coat..
