Camouflage quality of vlcak coat

Tollers are lovely, however they are an opposite breed to vlcaks as far as camouflage against the environment is concerned.:) At least unless it is deep autumn :rock_3. If you let both dogs run unleashed the toller could most of the year act as indicator as to where your vlcak is :p:lol:https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_b...2030%20005.jpg

BTW we have a thread on the Polish forum where people send photos showing how fantastically the coat of vlcaks matched the environment. The coat seems to act like a mirror.

Nice picture, "Martab"!

Hi Martab -

i really like this picture !

It´s proofing that originally obviously Mr. Karel Hartl not only used wolves for breeding but also ( or may be mainly ??) wild boar....:sooo_hapy

Ps: My Cwd also likes this kind of "natural perfume" ...cheerio to all !

Best greetings from Germany , Uli alias Silvester

Very fine , almost professional made pictures are posted here !

Ok, mine are of much poorer quality - but they also show the camouflage of coat- colour against the natural background.

Nice weekend to all !

Bye, Silvester

Great picture of camouflage !

Hey Vaiva ! - I like this photo. Very good example for camouflage - the dog is almost invisible, a little of course also because of the shadows of the tree. But the colour of coat is just exactly the same like the colour of natural background.

Great photos, everybody!

I can not remember now the exact number of wolves you have to find here, but guess it is 20 :)
